Vision Board: Why & How

The best way to achieve your goals is to think about them often, and connect with the feelings of having already achieved them.

By putting a vision board somewhere you can see it every day, you will remind yourself to visualize your ideal life on a regular basis. That’s important because visualization activates the creative powers of your subconscious mind, and programmes your brain to notice the resources that will help you to achieve your goals. Through the Law of Attraction, visualization magnetizes and attracts to you the people, resources, and opportunities you need to achieve your goals.

This is backed by neuroscience!

By adding a visualization practice to your daily routine, you will automatically start doing things that move you closer to your ideal life. So a Vision Board is actually an Action Board.

How to create a Vision Board

Now that you’ve written down an achievable list of goals it’s time to get fun with them by putting them into a picture format.

This can be done by cutting out pictures from magazines, or as I did, by downloading images from the internet and creating a Vision Board on Canva.com

This year I printed an A4 size which I laminated. This way I can take my Vision Board with me wherever I go.

Here is my Vision Board. I’ve blocked one corner as it’s something I’m working on that’s not public knowledge yet.

If this inspires you to create your own Vision Board, or if you’d like help with setting your goals or converting them to appropriate images, then please do contact me to make an appointment for a Lifestyle Coaching Session, so we can get this nailed for you.

The best time to start is NOW! And remember that it’s a fun exercise.
