Breathing techniques have been practised for thousands of years by yogis. You can use them to heat, cool, stimulate or relax the body.
Try this 4-7-8 breathing technique as you lay in bed waiting to fall asleep.
Note that if you go to bed at the correct time, it should take you about 15 minutes to fall asleep.
Guided meditation is a great way to gently occupy the mind whilst preparing to fall asleep.
